The Study Abroad Mentor Program started in the spring of 2008, and is designed to actively help students, who have come to study abroad in Korea, to adapt to life in and the culture of Korea.
The guides participating in this program are volunteers, selected from the students at Hongik University. Through regular exchanges with the Hongik University students, overseas language students can naturally become acquainted with Korean culture. Moreover, in the process of meeting with Korean students, the foreign students can acquire Korean language skills through their exposure to real-life usage of the language.
※ Among level 1 students from Hong Kong and Taiwan, please apply for the program when you go up level 2 if your Korean is totally not enough to understand.
